This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") establishes the legal framework for your installation and utilization of the GetSpeedi setup utility along with its related software components (collectively referred to as the "Installer" and "Software"). By downloading, setting up, or engaging with GetSpeedi, you confirm your review and acceptance of these Terms, creating a binding contract between yourself and Royal Step ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
Proprietary Rights and Coverage
Every element of the Installer and Software, including its specialized features, modules, safety protocols, and underlying code, remains the exclusive property of the Company or its authorized licensors. Your use of this Software is permitted strictly under the conditions of this Agreement, which regulates all associated functionalities and services.
Acceptance by the User
By initiating the installation or operation of the Software, you validate that you comprehend and agree to these provisions and commit to following all relevant legal statutes. Should you find any term here unacceptable, you are required to immediately remove the Software and cease its use. To maintain system stability and optimize performance, the Software may gather specific technical data; we recommend inspecting our Privacy Policy before starting the setup.
Installer and Application Services
By triggering the setup sequence, you grant the Company the authority to install the Software and any auxiliary files needed for its execution. During this process, and contingent upon your approval, the Software may modify certain web browser configurations—such as your preferred search provider, start page, or new tab layout—to integrate with a search service chosen by us. Proceeding further serves as your direct consent to these adjustments. If GetSpeedi is uninstalled later, your previous browser settings will not be restored automatically; however, you can manually update them through your browser's internal settings. You also acknowledge that these terms apply to any other default features or settings provided as part of the service.
License and Use Restrictions
The Company provides you with a personal, non-exclusive, revocable, and non-assignable license to install and operate the Software for private, non-commercial purposes. Prohibited actions include:
- Selling, redistributing, or sublicensing any part of the Software.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or alter the code.
- Bypassing built-in security mechanisms.
- Utilizing the tool for deceptive, harmful, or illegal activities.
Violations may lead to the immediate cancellation of your access and potential legal repercussions.
External Content and Links
The Software might incorporate or link to third-party advertisements, search tools, or outside content. The Company does not oversee or endorse these external services and takes no responsibility for their safety, accuracy, or reliability. Interactions with such materials are conducted at your own risk.
Intellectual Property Protection
All intellectual property, including brand trademarks, interfaces, code, and design assets, is held solely by the Company or its partners. This Agreement provides only limited usage rights and does not transfer any ownership interest to you.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The Software is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The Company does not guarantee flaw-free performance, constant availability, or compatibility with every hardware configuration. You accept all liabilities connected to the setup and use of the application.
Liability Limitation
To the full extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or secondary damages, nor for loss of business opportunities or data. If liability is established, the maximum compensation shall not exceed $10 USD or the amount you paid for the Software, whichever is higher.
Maintenance and Updates
The Company may deploy patches, fixes, or enhancements periodically. Depending on your device settings, these updates might install automatically. Your use of the Software signifies consent to these updates. We are not responsible for temporary disruptions caused by such maintenance.
Ending the Agreement
This contract remains valid until terminated by either party. You can end it at any time by uninstalling the application. The Company may suspend your access instantly if you breach these Terms or if your usage creates a security threat. Upon termination, your license is void and further use is prohibited.
Governing Law
This Agreement is subject to Israeli law, and all disputes shall be resolved exclusively within the courts of Tel Aviv. Any legal claims must be initiated within twelve (12) months of the event in question.
